Featured upgrade

South Pest WWTP — Budapest, Hungary · 80,000 m³/day

The transformation that defines the Organica upgrade proposition.

BeforeSouth Pest plant before upgrade: open basins covered in foam
AfterSouth Pest plant after upgrade: flowering plants inside a bright glasshouse

An aging facility struggling with overloads, effluent compliance, foaming, and odor complaints was upgraded from 60,000 to 80,000 m³/day within its existing structures — no new reactors built. Organica Biomodules raised the biomass inventory, operational problems were resolved, all odor issues eliminated, and the plant now discharges reliably to the sensitive Danube — under glass, in a botanical-garden setting the neighborhood welcomes.

Tropical plants growing from the Organica Food Chain Reactor at Laguna Technopark
Philippines · 6,500 m³/day · Retrofit

Laguna Technopark, near Manila

Capacity expansion for a fast-growing sewer network and industrial park. The FCR line treats 66% more flow than the parallel MBBR at roughly half the specific energy — 0.19 vs 0.40 kWh/m³ — with full biological nutrient removal compliant with DENR DAO 2016-08, the strictest Philippine effluent standard, since relaxed under DAO 2021-19. The plant doesn’t just meet today’s requirements — it outperforms them.

Wusong — infrastructure as landmark

Greenhouses and glass domes replace open basins: no odor, no "psychological footprint," and a facility a dense Shanghai district accepts as a neighbor. Community acceptance, designed in.
