De-risking Philippine water projects to bankability

Local feasibility studies typically carry ±30% accuracy — too loose for lenders, offtakers, and regulators. TWPI closes that gap with a three-stage method:

Elite, lean engineeringHand-picked senior process and civil engineers formed at the world's leading water companies, without big-firm overhead.
Upgraded deliverables to ±10%Design basis, process schemes, PFDs, conceptual P&IDs, EPC-style CAPEX, full OPEX and O&M estimation.
Optional Tier-1 independent reviewWhere lenders or regulators require it, deliverables can be independently validated and stamped by long-term global partners — the bankability seal accepted by multilateral banks and climate funds.

Organica Water — wastewater treatment that looks like a garden

Organica Water brings 25+ years of innovation in sustainable wastewater treatment, with 110+ references in 15 countries. Its patented Food Chain Reactor (FCR) grows a dense root-zone biomass of 8–12 kg/m³ — two to three times that of conventional activated sludge — so the same flow is treated in far less reactor volume, inside a green, odor-free, botanical-garden facility.

The technology works two ways: compact new-build plants, and economical upgrades of existing WWTPs — inserting Organica Biomodules into existing reactors to raise capacity and meet stricter effluent standards without new civil structures, as at South Pest, Budapest (60,000 → 80,000 m³/day) and Wusong, Shanghai (40,000 m³/day, 30% lower CAPEX than alternatives).

And it is already proven in the Philippines: the Laguna Technopark facility near Manila runs a 6,500 m³/day Organica FCR retrofit, treating 66% more flow than the adjacent MBBR line at roughly half the specific energy. As exclusive agent, TWPI brings this technology directly to Philippine water districts, developers, and industrial estates.

Leadership

Senior water leadership, in-house

TWPI's promise of world-class water expertise is not borrowed — it is the professional history of its founder and the network the firm delivers through.

Philip Hermann, President and CEO of Turquoise Wave Partners

Philip Hermann

President & CEO · Country Head Philippines, Organica Water · Business Development Manager Philippines, EPI Group

A graduate of HEC Liège, Philip has spent his career connecting European water expertise with Southeast Asian infrastructure. He entered the Philippine water sector in 2009, joining the EnviroKonsult/WaterKonsult group of companies of his first cousin, Anthony “Tonet” Gedang — a pioneer and leader of the Philippine water industry — as Business Development Manager, serving the country's utilities including Manila Water and Maynilad, and went on to represent Global Water Engineering on industrial wastewater projects for major food and beverage groups in the Philippines.

He then spent six years as Business Development Manager at Veolia Water Technologies — heir to OTV, the Veolia Environnement subsidiary behind so many of Asia’s landmark municipal water facilities — based in Kuala Lumpur, developing water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Southeast Asia and the Philippines — before being appointed Head of International Business at Manila Water, where he oversaw operations and new business development in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, and led the utility's international M&A pipeline.

In 2025 he founded Turquoise Wave Partners, where he also formally serves as Organica Water's Country Head and EPI Group's Business Development Manager for the Philippines — bringing both technologies to the market he knows best.
